Posted: August 25, 2025 / Source: RSS Feeds

A 48-month randomized trial compared the clinical performance and wear of Bis-GMA-based and Bis-GMA-free nanoceramic resin composites in Class I posterior restorations. 64 patients received occlusal restorations with Zenit (Bis-GMA-based) or Neo Spectra ST (Bis-GMA-free) composites. Clinical performance was assessed using modified USPHS criteria at baseline, 12, 24, and 48 months. Intraoral scans and 3D digital superimposition techniques were used to measure wear.
